The Day where I met my Buddy ^-^V

A new chapter of the friendship between 2 people ... 

Today, is the day where i'm going to meet my totally new friend, 

Ms Ker Shin had done the matching thing,,

Ms Ker Shin is the advisor of BEST BUDDIES ,, 

she is also one of the counsellor in UCSI ...

 

BEST BUDDIES 

matching one-to-one friendship 

between us, college buddy (student) & buddy (people with learning difficulties)...

and guess what, BEST BUDDIES MALAYSIA --- started last year ... 

and it's FIRST in Malaysia, you can only find this in UCSI UNIVERSITY, 

we are the pioneer, and we are now working together -->

organising events, involving the buddies, their parents, college buddy, 

having FUN and get to know about each other... 

it means a lot to both parties, 

this is an USUAL and totally different association, 

compared to other clubs in most of the UNIVERSITY ...

okie, back to the topic today, 

ME & Ker Shin together took the KTM from Bandar Tasik Selatan station, 

(thanks to my daddy, who fetch us there >3 )

waited for awhile, KTM reached, 

and i kinda freaked out because i know i'm going to enter the Canned of Sardin, 

well, KTM is well known for that, and a lot of snatch thieves "work" there..

very carefully we carried our belongings near our body, squeezed into the KTM... 

i've encountered this before, 

it's almost the same situation, if you've taken Monorail before xD

reached KL SENTRAL around 12pm, 

then, we headed to McD !!! 

there were a lot of people, the place was crowded as it was lunch time @.@

thanks to Ker Shin, who found the table.... heheee

1 thing, i was so suprised, that i actually met 1 of my good friend back in Primary School 

he is Yee Siew Man, hahahaa.... 

i've been lost contact with him, i hvnt met him for such a long time, 

and i was really HAPPY to see him today, at McD, 

we sat down and chit-chatted for awhile^^

He is teaching at a primary school near Jalan Imbi, standard 3 students, 

i'm glad to hear that he's enjoying, having fun time... lolxxxx

*hope we can meet up and gather again* 

Ker Shin had Spicy Chicken McDeluxe, ( which used to be favourite )

I had Apple Pie, Fries, Iced Milo -- because they dont served McEgg for lunch >,<

we had great time talking about hair, our lives, etc... 

After awhile, SHE arrived, wearing in a pink t-shirt, one of my favourite colour xD

Who is She ??

She's my Buddy, my new friend, Hooi Teng ... 

She is the Vice President of United Voice (UV)

she looks too normal, i know we can be really good friend. ^^v 

She's very friendly, she smiles, she laughs, 

she talks quite a lot sometimes, asking questions, 

she is a simple person, she dressed casually, 

she feels comfortable while we were talking  [i think so from i've noticed]

We talked about a lot of things, 

from my DIY nails, french nails which i'm having right now ^^ 

showing her some pictures inside my hp, she's interested larr.. 

then, we talked about what we like to do when our free time, 

also about where she live, what i study in Psycholodgy, what we can do next time.. 

blah blah blah.....................................................................

then i gave her the wrisband, wear it for her too,, 

then we exchange contact numbers, email address, 

AND of course - i gave her my blog address, hehee^^

where i met my buddy, where i know a new friend,

me & Ker Shin went to walk around KL SENTRAL, 

enjoy shopping with, we joke a lot and keep laughing while walking, 

looking for shoes, bags, clothes, etc... 

she bought something for herself, *Wink* ... HEHEHEEEE

the 4th day ...

Woke up around 10am+ + 

went straight to have lunch with 

yik ling & xiao hui ..^^ 

( we planned to kinda like ' celebrate ' Yik Ling's birthday ) 

which was actually on Saturday, 21/3/09.... 

 

We went to Tsim Tung, 

for the 1st day they have  a whole lot of parking space right in front.. 

coz it is a Sunday morning, 11.30am ... 

people are still sleeping ? 

or just finish their breakfast & not the time for lunch yet ?

Flip through the menu, 

i couldn't order the same food i always had whenever i go there with my 'chee mui'

no more Fillet Cheese-Baked Rice, 

no more Curry Chicken Rice, 

no more honey BBQ sauce Pork Rice, 

and etc... 

so hard, i couldn't make the decision easily like i used to @.@

every dish, either for rice or spagetti, 

they served with pork OR fish fillet OR chicken OR beef.... 

AT LAST --> 

i ordered the "yat ding" noodle soup, 

with an egg & 2 slices of luncheon meat & vege ... 

( so the 2 slices go to both of their stomach ) 

KUALA SELANGOR - Firefly Trip

7/3/09, 2pm - 11pm, Saturday

went to Kuala Selangor, 

- to see fireflies 

- had the sumptuous seafood dinner 

the trip is organized by the most active PEOPLE & CLUB in Uni, 

the PSYC CLUB !!!

Sociology Class @ Central Market

Last Friday, 27/2/09, our Sociology Class went to --> 

Central Market, places around there ...

( to interview immigrants / foreigners who came here to work, 

some married here, and settled down... )

We were asked to record down the interview process OR take pictures as well...

* it's optional 

in fact, we have to submit our wriiten output, the report, 

ASSIGNMENT TIME !!! 

12.30pm +, after finishing my Lifespan replacement class, 

me and my gals went to Samosa to eat first, before heading to LRT station

then, we took the cab and once we reached Tasik Selatan LRT, 

saw a lot of familiar faces, 

Bala, Nicole, Conrad, Robin, Meilina, Nicol, Cynthia, JC, Chloe, etc.......

also, Mr Sharaad was there too.... 

we  just followed him, all of us will stick together, 

( i was kinda afraid that we might get lost at 1st ) 

it was the time for Malay to do their prayer, 

so happened that there's a mosque nearby the LRT, 

once reached, i was totally in the SHOCK state, Stunned... 

all these 20 years, i never seen such thing, 

where all the Malay were praying everywhere, hundreds of them, even MORE !!

roadside, all around the Mosque compound, in front ticket counter @ LRT station

 

then, we saw these bunch of MALAYSIAN students, 

after using the newspaper for prayer ( usually they use their own mat at home ) 

they left the newspaper there, some even threw to the river 

*SIGH*    such an eyesore ><

this is the one impressed me the most, 

the guy who had drawn it is so talented... *seriously*

i like the pinkish words "THEY" on the right side...

we got so much info from her, she kept talking non-stop LOL 

when we asked to take a picture together, 

she denied and said : " i'm not Photogenic " 

OMG.......... hahaaha

the souvenir that FARIHA gave us, as a gift for 3 of us... 

( we left already but hand around at the shops nearby, 

when she saw me, she waved and asked me to go to her shop, 

then, giving us the souvenirs... ISN'T THAT SO SWEET ..? ) 

Then, we went outside ... 

we were bored so started taking pictures around and ourselves... 

and it's very HOT larrr

i saw this RED CAR parked beside the road, 

it really caught my attention, so i must snap the picture, i told myself xD

( coz i've been always wanted n love such  sporty & cool car... )

a soft spoken one, but she did tell us sufficient and important info as well 

time flies, it was already 5pm something, 

so we ended our interviewed session, 

before we leave, we shop a bit first, i bought 2 SHAWL ( bright pink & dark brown ) 

hehe......... since it's quite cheap, RM 10.... 

and i've looking for 1, so i bought already ^^V 

then, we took the LRT back, waited the UCSI Shuttle Bus for like 30 minutes, 

my legs were getting  numb and so so so tired !!! 

reaching UCSI, i have to get my car and drove home >< 

GUESS WHAT ?! 

I think i wasn't that tired, i still went to PASAR MALAM ... 

hahahhahhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
