KUALA SELANGOR - Firefly Trip

went to Kuala Selangor, 

- to see fireflies 

- had the sumptuous seafood dinner 

the trip is organized by the most active PEOPLE & CLUB in Uni, 

the PSYC CLUB !!!

Sociology Class @ Central Market

Last Friday, 27/2/09, our Sociology Class went to --> 

Central Market, places around there ...

( to interview immigrants / foreigners who came here to work, 

some married here, and settled down... )

We were asked to record down the interview process OR take pictures as well...

* it's optional 

in fact, we have to submit our wriiten output, the report, 

ASSIGNMENT TIME !!! 

12.30pm +, after finishing my Lifespan replacement class, 

me and my gals went to Samosa to eat first, before heading to LRT station

then, we took the cab and once we reached Tasik Selatan LRT, 

saw a lot of familiar faces, 

Bala, Nicole, Conrad, Robin, Meilina, Nicol, Cynthia, JC, Chloe, etc.......

also, Mr Sharaad was there too.... 

we  just followed him, all of us will stick together, 

( i was kinda afraid that we might get lost at 1st ) 

it was the time for Malay to do their prayer, 

so happened that there's a mosque nearby the LRT, 

once reached, i was totally in the SHOCK state, Stunned... 

all these 20 years, i never seen such thing, 

where all the Malay were praying everywhere, hundreds of them, even MORE !!

roadside, all around the Mosque compound, in front ticket counter @ LRT station

 

then, we saw these bunch of MALAYSIAN students, 

after using the newspaper for prayer ( usually they use their own mat at home ) 

they left the newspaper there, some even threw to the river 

*SIGH*    such an eyesore ><

this is the one impressed me the most, 

the guy who had drawn it is so talented... *seriously*

i like the pinkish words "THEY" on the right side...

OMG.......... hahaaha

the souvenir that FARIHA gave us, as a gift for 3 of us... 

( we left already but hand around at the shops nearby, 

when she saw me, she waved and asked me to go to her shop, 

then, giving us the souvenirs... ISN'T THAT SO SWEET ..? ) 

Then, we went outside ... 

we were bored so started taking pictures around and ourselves... 

and it's very HOT larrr

i saw this RED CAR parked beside the road, 

it really caught my attention, so i must snap the picture, i told myself xD

( coz i've been always wanted n love such  sporty & cool car... )

a soft spoken one, but she did tell us sufficient and important info as well 

time flies, it was already 5pm something, 

so we ended our interviewed session, 

before we leave, we shop a bit first, i bought 2 SHAWL ( bright pink & dark brown ) 

hehe......... since it's quite cheap, RM 10.... 

and i've looking for 1, so i bought already ^^V 

then, we took the LRT back, waited the UCSI Shuttle Bus for like 30 minutes, 

my legs were getting  numb and so so so tired !!! 

reaching UCSI, i have to get my car and drove home >< 

GUESS WHAT ?! 

I think i wasn't that tired, i still went to PASAR MALAM ... 

hahahhahhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

To-do-list ( after today ) :
- find out the price of small packet / glass for the next Wed event
- to add more things in the slide, more info to present about SPAIN, for upcoming presentation next Tues ( Public Speaking )
- search for info about Netherland education system, the Master Degree in Psychology, to convince people to come and study ?! *duh* ... Presentation date : 3/2/09
- Read the article " My life as a guinea pig ", write about own opinion and choose an ethical issue to discuss about it, submit the 1 page assignment on Mon
- SPRING CLEANING this weekend (mum's orders ) clean up my room, new bedsheet, curtain, help to change new cushion cover, make all the spider webs & dust, if any dissapear...
- finish up Expo Writing essay "My Embarrassing Moment" ASAP, including the previous freewriting, the outline, the writing... i think that's all, should be
- confirm with them how the gift should be, and do my part, do the best, not to let them down...

MORE and MORE things are coming up, loads of work are flooding my mind, especially since i'm taking Study Skills and Public Speaking ( i think they have more presentationSSSS ) which means ---->>>>>>>

MORE and MORE late night sleep, early waking hours, no more watching TV time, even i have to have my meals in front of my laptop ?! oh gosh..... NOOOOOOOOOOOO,, i'll see how, in front of it for so long, isnt a good thing too... will try to sort out and manage my time well, i missed those days during the previous 2 months holidays, lying around on the couch, watching TV all the time... anyway, we have to deal with it, the changes now....

THIS IS so-called LIFE !!!

Jan Semester ...

done my course selection few days back, we did it on the very 1st day, when we are allowed & supposed to do it .... i've learnt a precious lesson last sem, while having to do my course selection ( for the short sem - Sept sem ) i did it on thursday, i was late, instead of doing it on Mon... SO WHAT ?!!! if u're few days late... the problem is -- some of our class have LIMITED number of students ... eg : 30 is the max , so when we wanted to go for THE class during the 1st last Sept, it was already full, and me & my friend were being KICKED out of the class.... ( kinda embarrasing, i guess..but it's alright... never have such experience before LOLz )

since most of our class are quite small, and we have to compete ( while doing the course selection this time ) since out of 5 subj i'm taking, 2 are ELS's & another 2 more are from Mass Com's... besides, we have to 'fight' with our seniors & juniors as well, coz basically it's following the "siapa cepat dia dapat" policy ... ( it's also the same with the 'while stock lasts' concept...LOLz ) u got it now ??

somemore, i'm finishing my year 1 this coming Jan semester ( it's my 3rd sem ), so it's definitely a MUST for me to complete all my year 1 subjects ASAP lar..... in order to do my Co-Op at the end of the year 2009 ... o.O coz i think they've change the whole system, which -- we have to complete 100% of our year 1 subjects only we can do our 1st internship, right ??

at last, i've chosen these 5 subjects to study next semester, arranged my timetable the best way i could ( but, still it's the worst so far,,where Mon Wed = i have 3 classes, Tues Thurs Fri - only 1 class...*duh* )

hooray....yeah.....i am so happy, few hours ago, around 1pm, after finishing my last paper this short semester (MOT)

then went to Samosa with eunice, kana, lynn.....we're really happy and thought of let's go and eat something better ... at least not those from the cafe lar, boring lar seeing all those dishes...LOL...luckily now i am having my 2 MONTHS LONG BREAK, before coming back to UCSI( or will it be USI ? since it'd been upgraded from university college --> UNIVERSITY ) i have something pretty nice, delicious, FISH n CHIPS + iced HONEY MILK ....( if u're my true friend, who know me long enough, u'll notice that i order honey milk , like 9 times outta 10 ) muahahaha.....it's TRUE ...no kidding here..however, SAMOSA's honey milk = sux .... totally ruin my whole lunch ... a bit lar actually, but i still finish it, personally i hate to waste any edible stuff....

so now, what's my plan ? what to do after finishing this sem and the exam ? where to go with friends ? how to spend my time during the holiday ? u guys might be wondering .......
hmm.....let me see, i think -- ermm....welll.....I DONT KNOW YET, just i have a rought idea, for this moment, now !!! gonna relax lar, what else, just gimme a break, OKIE ?? maybe meet up with a few gang of friends, since 1 of them asked me out on Sunday but i said : "i cant"...*sigh* then, planning to ask a friend of mine from Johor, to stay over a couple of nights .... then, hang around more in FACEBOOK, checking how are my friends are enjoying too....LOL....blog a bit here, catch up with some long lost friends in MSN more often also.... enjoying these few days until end of october, then will have to start looking for any part time job available, coz i want to start in Nov and Dec, to earn more & extra $$$.....so that i can carry out my plans well, buying whatever i want, using parents $$ is just -- it's like something wrong, i feel bad about it...

guess what ? here i am, at my college computer lab blogging....muahaha......dont say i'm free and always posting something here, i'm busy busy busy !!! just that feel like wana writing some stuff here...

12.30pm : went to my "favourite" classs this semester-- MOT tutorial ... (we manage to fight for it ! we got group 1...long story actually...but a funny 1 ...LOL)

2pm : class ended !!! went to lobby since there's the INDO FAIR , my friend and her friends were @ the booth, selling really nice clothes, skirt, dress, bags, keychains, bracelets...all these were brought back from INDONESIA ... they went all the way back and brought back here......awesome !! hahaha... bought a RM35 dress (i woud say) looks simple, it's their indonesia's traditional clothes.....hehe....then, went to eat "chap fan" with another 2 friends.....

3pm : back to UCSI from outside "chap fan" stall....(dont really remebered the name..) then, here i am... in the computer lab, 1 floor above the library .. waiting for 4.3opm, discussion with a friend on how to the booklet thingy for this upcoming BB Party next week.... then again, we have to wait for 5,3opm : the BB meeting with all other members...*sigh* i just feel a little ...ermm.....nothing, coz why put it so late ? i mean the meeting, then i have to rush to catch the bus, or van, waiting like hell if i miss it ... then only take the LRT back to Cempaka station....haiz.... nvm, i think later i'm gonna leave earlier, in order to make life EASY .....

sometimes, egoism just has to POP in, sometimes have to think of ourselves too.... aiya....just skip this topic right now... okie, gtg now....finish my work 1st...

Things happening this SEPTEMBER !!!

okie, straight to the point---->>

1. short semester which means any assignmetns,test,midterm,will cramp in this month....

2. a fund raising event by the Best Buddies (BB), perhaps selling BIG APPLE donuts (if nothing goes wrong)

3. MY 20th BIRTHDAY...(hoping to have surprise like last year, wishes from unexpected friends)

4. BB welcoming tea party

5. movie day out with sis (coz got free movie ticket from GSC and mystyle.com.my/v2/

6. mooncake festival on 14th Sept (celebrating ?? not really...i dont play lanterns anymore)

7. planning outings with choi peng (when she come back during month end ^^V )

erm,,what else ? cant think much right now.....tell u later when i remember more.......CIAO ...

1st day of my 2nd semester

so lazy to wake up, prepared to go for 2 classes (supposingly larr...i assumed), mummy fetched me there after her yoga class....met nicole and eunice on the way C203....

INTRO to ADVERTISING class was quite interesting, 1st impression to Ms Nur Daliza ?! erm,,,funny person,,lively..i guess......haha....only very few of us--psychology students (it's our elective) most of them are mass com lar....apa lagi ??? few friends from mass com are taking this too, kinda fun i think in this class...hehe....

i really have no idea WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN~~brochures, flyers, leaflet, booklet, catalogue.........anyone can let me know ?! haha.....

okie....after the class which ended an hour earlier, kana joined us (eunice and I) had lunch at blockA cafeteria...eunice and i chit chat-ed for a while before we went to the next class at 2pm... how--> we enjoyed our holiday, her CF camp, my Langkawi trip, her new house in Angkasa......bla bla bla

then, off we went to B101--INTRO to PUBLIC SPEAKING. i was kinda worried actually coz at first it was rejected due to the class was already FULL....but, u know--there MAYBE people dropping this subject after attending few classes.. as i was told by others...so we went to sort-of-like try out the class ( in case this subject which i added in the morning--is approved ! )

when the lecturer was taking the attendance, he called out everyone's name...left out just the few of us, so he asked for the reason and stuff.. if we only added this subject NOW/or LATER, it will still be rejected. the class is FULL.....there should be only 25-30 people in the class >,<

"why u guys just dont understand ?!" -->this 1 i added myself...HAHAHA...^o^

okie dokie, so we were like packed our things, gave back the notes, said BYE BYE to my other psycho friends (who had done the course selection earlier than us..) walking towards the door, LEAVING !!!

i feel like being KICKED OUT of the class.....LOL......1st day of this semester, this is what happen....same time--so "fish" lar,,,very "yu"....anyway, it's ok coz he's not that rude or mean when asking us to leave..he even said -- if we wanna attend his class, next semester he's definitely teaching wor.... SURE !!! see you then ... muahahaha
